right part, no leaks

Our 20+ year old jacuzzi was leaking from the impeller shaft for who knows how long before I decided to rebuild the pump. I know, I know what you're thinking, if your spa is over 20 years old, and one of the pumps is leaking why not just buy a new Jacuzzi? Well because we bought this jacuzzi used for only $100 and after I installed new insulation, new siding, new filters, a new cover, a new spa pack(reimbursed by our utility co. due to a utility pole fire) and my wife and I built stairs, wiring it, installing a GFCI and adding 40 feet to the 150 feet of wiring that came with the spa originally we still have less than $1000 invested in a fantastic jacuzzi that we use just about every winter night. Not to mention what a chore it is to move the thing. So when I discovered one of the pumps was leaking, I decided to fix it myself. I called Aquaflo & provided the part number from my discontinued pump & described the problem. He told me exactly what I needed to fix the leak( a seal & an impeller). I ordered the parts on the site & began the repair the night the parts arrived. I completed the repair that same night & the pump is now operating without any leaks. I saved us hundreds in repair costs by doing it myself(my spa fix charges $80/hour & marks up parts costs). More importantly, we were able to use the jacuzzi that night. Thank you Aquaflo for recommending the correct parts for a discontinued pump!
